In those two decades, we’ve seen so much promise and potential to improve people’s lives: solve complex business challenges that drive vital results, boost productivity, and improve satisfaction and retention through better workflows. The goal is always to empower people, not replace them.

So employees don’t get bogged down with menial, mind-numbing tasks. So employees connect and collaborate smoothly. So employees come home to their families sooner.

That’s my passion: caring for people who need technology to work for them, not against them. That passion shapes what we mean when we say freedom to perform.

2001

Inception

Alex Bratton starts Lextech in his basement, with a mission to make advanced engineering usable for non-technical people.

2001–02

First Project

A subcontract for the U.S. Department of Defense, connecting mission-critical hardware including missile systems and naval video security.

2007

iPhone Launch

With the iPhone’s release, Lextech shifts to designing better mobile experiences. (The team lined up at 4 a.m. for the company’s first iPhones.)

2010

Sonic Boom

Collaboration with Sonic Automotive reinvents car sales, a four-hour, multi-department process becomes a 45-minute single-guide experience.

2014

Billion Dollar Apps

Alex Bratton writes “Billion Dollar Apps” and invents the App Roadmap Workshop to help companies prioritize the experiences that matter most.

2015

Apple Partnership

Lextech becomes one of the very first official mobility partners for one of the world’s most admired computer companies, a partnership that continues today.

2016

Recipe for Success

Lextech introduces Recipe for Success, a new way for companies to spot which ingredients are missing from their enterprise programs.

2017

Take Flight

Lextech joins ARINC’s Electronic Flight Bag subcommittee, helping draft the ARINC 840A spec to make pilots’ lives easier.

2020

Life Sciences

Lextech joins the Pistoia Alliance, contributing to Lab of the Future and Data & UX in Life Sciences.

2021

LexGo

Lextech helps launch sister company LexGo, a digital platform reinventing how people work remotely and connect at virtual events.

2023

See the Future

Lextech shows clients how spatial computing and computer vision can revolutionize technical training, inventory, and real-time operational awareness.

2024

AI Done Right

Lextech breaks from the pack with enterprise-grade AI that puts employees at the center, less about the technical “how,” more about the business “why.”
