Discovering Data in Digital Transformation Workshop.

Lextech partnered with the EFB UX Consortium to help co-facilitate this event in Barcelona, Spain on Nov. 8, 2022.

Here’s a description of the workshop:

“As we embark on different levels, flavours, and processes within digital transformation in our organization, the discussion of how automation, technology and humans intersect inevitably comes up. The core of this discussion centers around data literacy (how we understand and use data) and developing human-centric products and processes.”

“In this session, we will delve into tech maturity models for different aviation organizations, talk about how data plays a role in what we do, and how we can design better systems to build mutualistic relationships using UX and design methodology.”

This two-hour workshop covered both strategic and tactical nuggets such as:

• How to start developing more meaningful data presentations
• How to increase data literacy within an organization
• Where and when automation and artificial intelligence might play a role in certain programs
• How deterministic and probabilistic data affect people’s experiences

Presenters were Vinita Israni, User Experience Manager at Qantas and founder of the EFB UX Consortium, and Gary Heusner, Lextech President.
